SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2006

TODAY'S THOUGHT

To find joy in work is to discover the fountain of youth.

Pearl Buck

TODAY’S ACTION

~ Alfred A. Montapert ~

Pursue your dream job.

TODAY’S QUOTE

Many of us have forgotten to live today, thinking we have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy our lives. The important thing is to never stop questioning.

Albert Einstein

HAPPY TUESDAY!

BACK TO WORK !!!

The good news is that it’s only a 4 day work week ! Monday was great, now on to Tuesday ! I’m sure I’ll have a pile of work to do on my desk after being off for 4 days. I always think it’s better busy than not—so it should be a good day!

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way!

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

GOD BLESS YOU !

TODAY IS…HOUSE KEEPERS DAY !

Without housekeepers our lives would be in chaos, and our homes would be like messy little pig pens! HURRAY FOR HOUSEKEEPERS! A day is not enough - lets give em' a whole month! Maybe even a whole year! And if you do your own housekeeping, pat yourself on the back - and take the day off!

TODAY’S TRIVIA

1882: 10,000 workers marched in the first Labor Day parade in New York City

1910: Marie Curie demonstrates the transformation of radium ore to metal at the Academy of Sciences in France.

1956: Johnny Cash hit the record charts running, with "I Walk The Line". Cash's debut hit song climbed to number 17 on the pop music charts.

1987: After 30 years on television, "American Bandstand," hosted by Dick Clark, was canceled.

TODAY’S SMILE

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S REFLECTION

Psalms 118:8

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?

A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q: What is the center verse in the Bible?

A: Psalms 118:8

Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?
