TODAY'S THOUGHT

Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of moments.

Rose Kennedy

TODAY’S ACTION

Open your arms to beautiful moments and they will come to you

TODAY’S QUOTE

A sense of humour doesn't necessarily mean a knack for telling jokes. It means the ability to take some setbacks and still see that the world has not come to an end.'

Author Unknown

We pray today for any person or family who really is experiencing those tough and difficult setbacks in life.

A family is a place where minds come in contact with one another. If these minds love one another the home will be as beautiful as a flower garden. But if these minds get out of harmony with one another it is like a storm that plays havoc with the garden.

HAPPY THURSDAY !

This week is going by nice and fast. Tomorrow is Friday already! It did get chilly here overnight and yes, the furnace came on. I’ve got it set at 68 degrees, just to take the chill out of the air.

I’ve been layering up the clothes the past few days. It gets a little warmer during the day at work, so I can take off a layer and put it on again later.

I hope your are enjoying the cooler weather !

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

GOD BLESS YOU !

TODAY IS…WORLD GRATITUDE DAY

A day for uniting all people by sharing gratitude simultaneously

I just want to say ...

THANK YOU !

TODAY’S SMILE

Start your day off with a great big smile because every day should be a GREAT DAY.

This list of rules for white-collar workers was posted in 1872 by a carriage manufacturing company in New York:

1. Office employees each day will fill lamps, clean chumneys and trim wicks.

2. Each clerk will bring a bucket of water and a scuttle of coal for the day's business.

3. Make your pens carefully. You may whittle nibs to your individual taste.

4. Men employees will be given an evening off each week for courting purposes, or two evenings if they go to church regularly.

5. After 13 hours of labor in the office, the employee should spend the remaining time reading the Bible or other good books.

6. Every employee should lay from each pay a goodly sum of his earnings for his declining years so that he will not become a burden on society.

7. The employee who has performed his labors faithfully and without fault for five years will be given an increase of five cents per day in his pay, providing profits from the business permit.

TODAY’S REFLECTION

How great is God -- beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out. Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. God's voice thunders in marveous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.

Job 36:26, 37:2, 5

The highest knowledge that we can have of God in this life is to know that He is above all we can think concerning Him.

St. Thomas Aquinas
