HAPPY THURSDAY !!
I finally made it over the hump ! What a long week this has turned into. I kept thinking all day yesterday that it was Thursday, but no, today is Thursday. Still one more day after this one till the weekend.
All has been quiet around home this week. I never made it to our dulcimer get together on Tuesday , we had to rescheduled it to next Tuesday. I managed to get some laundry done and very little else.
It’s dark here now at 7:30 . I guess the sun sets before then, but it is still daylight for a little while.
DS#4 has been traveling for work this week, so we’ll be praying he makes it home safely tomorrow. I know his family misses him when he’s gone for sure.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TODAY IS…WATCH A SQUIRREL DAY
The Grey Squirrel has been traced back 50 million years. It is a rodent about fifteen inches long that weighs around one pound. Its diet consists of nuts, seeds and fruit. Their life span is six years, but most squirrels inside the cities don't reach their first birthday. This is not because of predators - they are usually killed by automobiles. Squirrels want their own cross-walks!

TODAY’S SMILE
A boy, frustrated with all the rules he had to follow, asked his father,
"Dad, how soon will I be old enough to do as I please?"
The father answered immediately,
"I don't know. Nobody has lived that long yet."

TODAY’S WORD
extant \EK-stunt; ek-STANT\, adjective:
Still existing; not destroyed, lost, or extinct.
The fossil record shows clearly that ancient life was very different from extant life. -- Paul Davies

TODAY’S REFLECTION
There is a time for finding and losing, keeping and giving...
Ecclesiastes 3:6
One of the difficulties in life is caused by loss – loss of a job, loss of money, loss of health, loss of a loved one through death or divorce, and in this mobile society, loss of good friends who move away.
All of us hate to lose these things, yet just as birth and death are part of life, so are finding and losing No matter what you lose, – health, loved one, friend or job – you never lose the most important One in your life.
You may be alone, but you needn't be lonely, for God is always with you.
