 HAPPY MONDAY !!

It was a very fast but good weekend, now it’s back to work. The calendar here looks pretty quiet until until Thursday evening then DS#4 and his family are coming in for DD’s graduation party on Saturday.

DD graduated from her Dental Assistants classes and is now working full time as one. She worked very hard and got all A’s so she really deserves a party for sure.

The ‘Newlyweds’ will also be coming in for the party so it looks like I will have a house full. I do have plenty of beds here, so that’s a good thing. I guess I’ll be spending my evenings this week getting ready for them all.

DS#1 said there was frost on the ground at his house Sunday morning, but we didn’t see any and mowed the grass again. This is the first time I can remember mowing this late in the year. If this weather keeps up we’ll be mowing in November and that’s really unheard of.

It looks like we should be in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s all week long.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S PRAYERS

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TODAY IS…DRACULA DAY

The 1931 version of Dracula was the first classic horror film made by Universal Pictures. It was based on Bram Stoker's 1897 novel. The popular vampire story had been made as a silent movie in the 1920s and was also a hit Broadway play. Hungarian stage actor Bela Lugosi starred in the smash-hit theater production and was signed to make the movie. He quickly became the definitive screen vampire, and Dracula was his most famous role. Universal's next picture was the successful movie Frankenstein.

TODAY’S WORD

bravado \bruh-VAH-doh\, noun;

plural bravados or bravadoes \bruh-VAH-dohz\:

A real or pretended show of courage or boldness

TODAY’S REFLECTION

And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, Take provisions for your journey...

Joshua 9:11

Life is a Journey From birth to death, life is a journey. It is just as important that we "take provisions."

Our parents provide us with lessons to prepare us for turns in the road. Then teachers provide us with a different set of lessons. These provisions make a difference in the way we are able to navigate the rough places in life's journey God leads us step by step, from event to event.

Only afterwards, as we look back over the way we have come and reconsider certain important moments in our lives in the light of all that has followed them, or when we survey the whole progress of our lives, do we experience the feeling of having been led without knowing it, the feeling that God has mysteriously guided us."
