Every charitable act is a stepping stone toward heaven.

Henry Ward Beecher

TODAY'S ACTION

TODAY'S QUOTE

There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.

Carl Jung

HAPPY MONDAY!

Back to work !

Another short week for me. I’m off Friday and headed to DS#!’s for the Easter weekend. This week will go by fast because we are busy at work now and there is lots to do. That always makes the days go by quicker.

I did manage to finish painting my Easter Eggs for the grandbabes on Sunday afternoon. Now I just need to get everything packaged up so I can put them in the mail.

Lots of family birthdays coming up too ! GD#1 is on the 12th and DS#2 is on the 15th this week.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...RAG RUG DAY

Rag rugs were the specialty of creative pioneer women living in the frontier. Originally made out of worn out clothes, many different patterns and techniques were developed. The only requirement was that they be made from strips of cloth and hand woven. In recent years, their popularity has returned as either 3-strand braided or crocheted rugs. If you're looking for a project, give it a try

TODAY'S SMILE

An old lady had always wanted to travel abroad. She began by going in person to the Passport Office and asking how long it would take to have one issued. "You must take the loyalty oath first," responded the passport clerk. "Raise your right hand, please."

The old gal raised her right hand. "Do you swear to defend the Constitution of the United States against all its enemies, domestic or foreign?" was the first question.

The little old lady's face paled and her voice trembled as she asked in a small voice: "Uhhh... all by myself?"

Cannot help in any way,

It's much healthier and happier
