TODAY'S THOUGHT
When I speak, I tell my audiences, "As you get out of bed each morning and stumble into the bathroom, jump-start each day with a positive attitude. Look in the mirror and say, 'Good Morning. I love you. We're going to have a great day!'
Margie Seyfer
TODAY’S ACTION
Live with the thought of being in God's care
TODAY’S QUOTE
Perhaps the world little notes nor long remembers individual acts of kindness - but people do.

HAPPY THURSDAY !!
I’m hoping there are no more SNOW surprises this morning. Yesterday morning I was surprised to see there was more snow on the ground than there was the previous day. The shovel was called into action once more and I was saved great distress by the hum of my next door sister’s snow blower.
It was a cold one and will be again today. I think we may reach a high of 23 degrees. Brrrchilll ! After today it’ll be Friday which means I’ve made it through another work week and survived another day of winter, so I guess there is hope ! Spring will come !!!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God, and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY IS…BLUE JEANS DAY
Jeans was a blue twilled cotton cloth milled in Geneo, Italy. The French weavers called the town "Genes" - and that's how we got the word "jeans". Blue jeans were invented by Levi Strauss during the Gold Rush of the 1850s. Selling canvas to the miners, he started stitching it into pants. In the 1860s, he replaced the canvas with denim. Worn as work pants for years, they became fashionable in 1935 when a model wore then in Vogue magazine.

TODAY’S SMILE
The Child's Eye View of Religion . . . A little boy who prayed for a bicycle had an even more startling surprise instead-a baby sister. That night he had a talk with God about His delivery service. "I got a sister instead of a bike," he explained to God. "Maybe some other kid wanted a sister and got my bike. Is there any chance we can keep the girl and get me a bike, too?"
One of the most effective ways of sharing the feeling of God's daily presence with the family is to have the children ask the blessing for the evening meal. But, of course, many families don't have this custom, which accounts for the puzzlement of a little boy who went to dinner with his parents at the home of a very elderly gentleman. After watching the old man bow his head and speak in hushed tones, the boy asked his mother, "What did Mr. Bryan say to his plate?"
Three-year-old Laurie was delighted with the reception she got at church. She told her mother, "They sang a whole song just for me...'Laurie, Laurie Hallelujah'."
Instead of singing the Doxology phrase "Praise all creatures here below," a little girl sang instead, "Praise all preachers, here we go." It made sense to her because everybody sang it at the end of the service, just as they were leaving.
A tiny boy of four was warned by his slightly older sister that he wouldn't be allowed to talk in church. "They just won't let you say a word," she said. "Who won't?" the boy asked. "The hushers," she replied.
The small son of a football coach in Ft. Worth, Texas, was dragging his feet on Sunday morning because he didn't like Sunday school. Finally hismother said, "Hurry up," and he said, "Aw...let's wait and go at half time."
In Littleton, Colorado, a girl watching her mother shell hard boiled eggs said, "Jesus must like these a lot." "Why do you say that?" asked the mother, and the girl explained: "Last week in church we sang 'Hard Eggs, Take Them All To Jesus.' "

Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Psalm 56:3
How did Jesus endure the terror of the crucifixion? He went first to the Father with his fears. He modeled the words of Psalm 56:3: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Do the same with yours. Don’t avoid life’s Gardens of Gethsemane. Enter them. Just don’t enter them alone. And while there, be honest. Pounding the ground is permitted. Tears are allowed. And if you sweat blood, you won’t be the first. Do what Jesus did; open your heart. And be specific. Jesus was. “Take this cup,” he prayed. Give God the number of the flight. Tell him the length of the speech.
Share the details of the job transfer. He hasplenty of time. He also has plenty of compassion. He doesn’t think your fears are foolish or silly. He won’t tell you to “buck up” or “get tough.” He’s been where you are. He knows how you feel. And he knows what you need.
