TODAY'S THOUGHT
Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being
Johann W. von Goethe
TODAY'S ACTION
Overlook and forget the hurt and injustices done to you and try to understand the problem within the one who hurt you
TODAY'S QUOTE
Use what talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except for those that sang best.
Henry Van Dyke
HAPPY THURSDAY
Quiet week here so far, work is ok , and I’m slowly getting all the snowmen and Valentine decorations put away at home and will be getting out the green table cloths, candles, etc for March. Even though I’m usually the only one here, I like to change a few things each month to go with whatever holiday or season it is.
I get a hair cut after work this evening and tomorrow evening I’ll be going to the Stations of the Cross at church. I try to make this my something extra to do every Lent.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS...BOOT HILL DAY
Yes, it's Dodge City and Wyatt Earp!
There was no law enforcement during the early years, but there were plenty of buffalo hunters, railroad workers and soldiers - and plenty of gunfights.
BootHill was where they were "buried with their boots on". It's the most famous cemetery of the American West

TODAY'S SMILE
A boy was taking care of his baby sister while his parents went to town shopping. He decided to go fishing and he had to take her along. "I'll never do that again!" he told his mother that evening. "I didn't catch a thing!"
"Oh, next time I'm sure she'll be quiet and not scare the fish away," his mother said. The boy said,
It wasn't that. She ate all the bait
ONE MORE…
Remembrance Day was coming up, and the nursery school teacher took the opportunity to tell her class about patriotism. "We live in a great country," she said.
"One of the things we should be happy is that, in this country, we are all free."
One little boy came walking up to her from the back of the room. He stood with his hands on his hips and said. . . .
I'm not free. I'm four

TODAY'S REFLECTION
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God
John 3:21
Jesus was telling Nicodemus of the miracle of God sending his Son into the world. Jesus called you "the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14).
Even if you are but one tiny candle in this big world, you may bring light to someone else and make a big difference in that life. Then that light may be passed on to another and another. Soon many lives are brought into the light of God's love
TODAY'S ADVICE FROM THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC
