TODAY'S QUOTE
What after all is a halo? It's only one more thing to keep clean.
Christopher Fry
HAPPY FRIDAY!
This is a sad report to give you all – we got the results back from my mom’s biopsy yesterday and she’ll be having hospice care for now. She has very advanced pancreatic cancer and at the most 2 months they think. Of course we all know there is no second guessing when it comes to our time to go. Only the good Lord knows that one for sure. We just hope to make her as comfortable as she can possibly be.
If you can say a little prayer for her, my dad and my sisters, I’d appreciate it. It will be a difficult time for all. If my e-mails get sporadic you’ll know why. I will try to post every day as it is a great stress reliever for me. When I’m looking up trivia, or a good quote it takes my mind off other things.
Remember to make every day count, it is truly a gift and sooooo precious.
Take good care !
Have a great day ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY IS...HARRY HOUDINI DAY
Houdini is the most famous magician in history. He was born Erik Weisz on March 24, 1874, in Budapest, Hungary - and 4 years old when his family emigrated to America. His worldwide fame came from making amazing escapes. Early routines included getting out of straitjackets and handcuffs. He eventually performed an act where he was shackled with irons, placed in a box that was locked, roped, and weighted - and then submerged under water.
