TODAY'S THOUGHT

The thankful heart sweeps through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!

Henry Ward Beecher

TODAY'S ACTION

Revive, awaken and make the most of your gift – life

TODAY'S QUOTE

All Fords are exactly alike, but no two men are just alike. Every new life is a new thing under the sun; there has never been anything just like it before, never will be again. A young man ought to get that idea about himself; he should look for the single spark of individuality that makes him different from other folks, and develop that for all he is worth. Society and schools may try to iron it out of him; their tendency is to put it all in the same mold, but I say don't let that spark be lost; it is your only real claim to importance.

Henry Ford

HAPPY THURSDAY!

We saw a few flakes falling yesterday and the windchill has been in the low teens. I do dress in layers and most of them are on during the day at work and at home, but when I go to my folks house, it’s just like being in the tropics and off come the layers. They keep it nice and warm so they don’t catch a chill.

I’ll be so thankful when warmer weather comes and we can even open a window or two and let some fresh air in.

Off to work as usual this morning. Only today and Friday left of this work week. I’ll be spending Friday night and all day Saturday at the folks house. We are starting to develop a routine here.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY IS...NICE FRAGRANCE DAY!

The word "perfume" comes from the Latin words per fume meaning "through smoke". This reflects the oldest tradition of burning incense and herbs during religious offering. Wearing perfume didn't hit it big until the 17th century when perfumed gloves became the rage in France. The court of Louis XV was even named "the perfumed court" because scents were applied every day to skin, clothes, fans and furniture - mainly because they didn't take very many baths
