TODAY'S THOUGHT

To know how to grow old is the masterwork of wisdom, and one of the most difficult chapters in the great art of living.

TODAY’S QUOTE

Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.

HAPPY TUESDAY !!

Today we should see a little cool down from our 90 degree weather and then we’ll be in the 80’s the rest of the week. That is a little closer to normal or maybe I should say average June temperatures.

It is always nice though having the sunshine to brighten our days. It seems that everything is more cheerful. But if you live in northern Ohio, you’ll probably need an umbrella today.

Work is picking up again and things will begin to get busier in the office. Our men work more in the summer months than any other time. That always makes my days at work go by quicker too.

Monday wasn’t bad at all so today should be a good one too!

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S PRAYERS

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

GOD BLESS YOU !

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TO REMEMBER…

I am in the hands of God, and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY IS…ICED TEA DAY

Iced tea was invented by accident in 1905. It was a hot day at the World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri, and Richard Blechynden's tea concession was not doing well. Thinking quickly, he added ice and created a beverage that has become an American favorite. Almost any tea you like can be poured over ice, but some teas change pH levels in cold water. If your iced tea gets cloudy, just slice up some citrus fruit and add it to your glass. Lemons, limes or oranges will balance the acid content

TODAY’S SMILE

A police officer pulled over an eighty-six-year-old woman because her hand signals were confusing. "First you put your hand up, like you're turning right, then you wave your hand up and down, then you turn left," said the officer.

"I decided not to turn right," she explained.

"Then why the up and down motion with your hands?" asked the officer.

"I was erasing."

How effectively are your wrong doings erased?.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. -Psalms 103:8

TODAY’S REFLECTION

For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

Psalm 8:28

Today's scripture tells us that God will always be our Light. When we trust him completely, he will never leave us in the darkness of despair. Too many times we allow the darkness of life's storms to overcome us, rather than going to God and allowing him to lead us in his light.

Jesus promised, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12). http://www.ourprayer.org
