TODAY’S QUOTE
There are the NOWS, WAS’S, and GONNA-BE’S.
A NOW is the most precious thing you can have, because a NOW goes by with the speed of light. Let’s say you’re having a beautiful NOW that you want to hold on to forever. No matter how much you want to hold on to it, it’s going to be a WAS. A lot of people get stuck in and can’t let go of the WAS’S. Those WAS’S get heavy, and they start to decay into SHOULDA-COULDAS. And they never have time for the new NOW.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY !!
OVER THE HUMP DAY !
After today I have just one more day of work left and I’m so excited about that. Friday will be vacation day to go and spend more time at my camper. My car is almost loaded to the brim with more things to take. I also ordered more things needed for the camper so if they arrive by Thursday I’ll have to find room for them too.
I still have my little patio table and chairs that need to go, but I’m afraid they won’t make it this time unless DD and her hubby have room in their truck for them. There will be plenty more trips to take things though and they’ll get there sooner or later.
The following weekend and the weekend after that my camping will be cut short a little as two of my grandbabes have special days coming up andon one day of each of those weekends I’ll be going to celebrate with each of them. One way or the other, weekends are going to be very busy and enjoyable too !
It all will involve a little travel to be sure, but it is worth it. Spending time with my family is very important to me.
Today for the 3rd day in a row we’ll be seeing more sunshine here. The nights and early mornings have been very cold, but it’s getting a little warmer each day. I’m so thankful Spring has finally Sprung!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
God Bless You All!

TODAY IS…GUITAR PICKERS DAY
The guitar was invented by the people of Malaga, Spain during the 15th century. These first guitars were very small and strung with four pair of strings. Each pair was call a course. As the guitar later changed into a larger instrument, this "four course" guitar became the ukulele. During the Renaissance, the guitar was not considered a serious instrument and never replaced the popular lute. The first publication to include music for a guitar was written in 1546

TODAY’S REFLECTION
We look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
Although we are created to cling tightly to life, God did not intend for us to live on earth forever. I lost much I once held dear, but I have gained immeasurably too.
Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: . . . a time to keep and a time to throw away" (verses 1 and 6).
Age and disability loosen the grip we have on this life and prepare us to look forward to the next. We have a choice to make: Will we spend our remaining days grieving for things of the past, or will we spend these days searching for the things of God?
Those eternal, unseen things will keep us close to our Creator http://www.upperroom.org
