TODAY’S QUOTE
Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be, because sooner or later, if you are posing, you will forget the pose, and then where are you?

HAPPY THURSDAY !!
Well I made it over the hump of this week and now only 2 days remain til the weekend. I have my Bible Study this evening and am looking forward to that as we’ve had 2 weeks off due to Holy Week and Easter Break.
This month we should also be starting our dulcimer get togethers again. We usually do so I’ll have to call my dulcimer buddies and see if we are or not. I’ve missed that too, but I definitely don’t like to go out on dark cold evenings in the winter.
It seems I do a lot more of everything when the nice weather comes. I guess I’m what they call a fair weather friend. When the weather is fair, you see a lot more of me. That’s not a very good thing, but it’s true.
DD called and let me know she and her hubby have been sick this week. It hasn’t been a very nice vacation for her. It looks like it will be yet another week or so until we can go to the campground too. They have work at their house that has to get done first.
The weekend of the19th is when they officially will have the water turned on at the campsites so then we’ll be able to stay overnight there. Weather permitting, of course.
Take good care all ! Have a great day all !
Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, help me to remember that I can't always fix things; help me to always put my trust in You
Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS

TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God, and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY IS…BETTY BOOP DAY
Betty Boop began her life as a dog. Designed by Fleischer studio and animator Grim Natwick, her first appearance was August 8, 1930, in "Dizzy Dishes." She was a dog, singing to another dog. She was drawn as a person in "Kitty from Kansas City" in 1931. During the 1930s, there were over 100 Betty Boop cartoons made - the last one, "Yip Yip Yippy", in 1939. Betty was in retirement until 1988, where she returned to the big screen in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" - the only "toon" in black and white. Loveable Betty is still highly popular today.

TODAY’S SMILE
Once a long time ago, God explained to one of his angels, "I just finished setting things up so the Earth will rotate, creating alternating 24-hour periods of light and darkness."
The angel said, "What are you going to do, now?" God replies, "I think I'm going to call it a day."
ONE MORE…
THE OPTIMIST AND THE NON-OPTIMIST
An optimist sees the best in the world, while a pessimist (a non-optimist) sees only the worst. An optimist finds the positive in the negative, and a pessimist can only find the negative in the positive. Let me illustrate what I mean . . .
An avid duck hunter was in the market for a new bird dog. His search ended when he found a dog that could actually walk on water to retrieve a duck. Shocked by his find, he was sure none of his friends would ever believe him.
He decided to try to break the news to a friend of his, a pessimist by nature, and invited him to hunt with him and his new dog. As they waited by the shore, a flock of ducks flew by. they fired, and a duck fell. the dog responded and jumped into the water.
The dog, however, did not sink but instead walked across the water to retrieve the bird, never getting more than his paws wet. The friend saw everything but did not say a single word.
On the drive home the hunter asked his friend, "Did you notice anything unusual about my new dog?" "I sure did," responded his friend. "He can't swim."

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Look at the birds of the air . . . .
Matthew 6:26
Using birds and lilies as examples, Jesus urged people not to worry. Since God takes care of birds, surely He will take care of His people (Matt. 6:26-30).
When concern for our own well-being leads to anxious thoughts, we can look at the birds and be assured of our value to God and of His care for us. We need not fear the perils around us because the eye of the Lord is always upon us

I bet you are doubly anxious to go camping now that you have your own camper and I can't say I blame you. How fun it will be this year.
