HAPPY MONDAY !!

It is BACK TO WORK again today. I should be well rested as I did nothing but relax, sleep and read a lot all weekend. It was a strange weekend as I was all on my own there. No family to keep me company. My niece’s in-laws were there and they treated me to ice cream at the camp ground’s Ice Cream Social which was very nice. I sure missed my family though.

I heard from DS#2 yesterday and he is traveling for his job once again. In the next few weeks he’ll be on the East Coast and the West Coast, so I’ll be praying for safe travels for him.

The week ahead will be a quiet one as there is nothing on my calendar for after work . The weekend ahead will be very different as it’ll be the first one in a long time that I won’t be going camping. DDIL#6 will be graduating with her Masters Degree and DS#6 is having a party for her so I’ll be traveling to the party instead.

Hopefully you are all rested from your weekend and ready to begin a new week. It will be a good one if you remember, this too is a day the Lord has made!

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S PRAYERS

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

GOD BLESS YOU !

25 WORDS

God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me, and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name

TO REMEMBER…

I am in the hands of God, and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY IS…TWINS FESTIVAL DAY

The term "twins" comes from an ancient German word meaning "two together." About 3% of all births are twins - and there are about 125 million twins in the world today. Every August since 1976, twins have traveled to a small town south of Cleveland for a weekend of socializing

TODAY’S WORD

brummagem \BRUHM-uh-juhm\, adjective:

Cheap and showy, tawdry; also, spurious, counterfeit Brummagem is an alteration of Birmingham, England, from the counterfeit groats produced there in the 17th century

TODAY’S REFLECTION

All these things happened to them as examples, and . . . for our admonition.

1 Corinthians 10:11

The stories of the Bible were never meant to be outgrown. There are profound lessons to be learned from the amazing accounts of those who faced giants, floods, and fish! Hundreds of years after the fact, the apostle Paul explained that the things that happened to Moses and the Israelites as they wandered through the desert “happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition” (1 Cor. 10:11).

These stories are about us. They mirror the tensions we face daily as we too seek to apply God’s will and ways to the realities of our lives. They teach us of the treachery of sin, our desperate need to trust God unflinchingly, and the importance of staying faithful and true to Him regardless of what happens. Don’t ignore the old stories.

You might be surprised what God wants to teach you through them Stories from the past can give us pointers for the present http://www.rbc.org

Psalm 37:4

I Love You All !!!

Be Blessed !!!
