TODAY’S QUOTE

God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.

J.G. Holland

HAPPY SATURDAY

BRRRCHILL !!! I can only say it is very cold here this weekend ! I don’t know if we’ll get much more snow, but I hope not! It’s too cold to go out and clear it.

On Friday morning, 7:30 a.m., February 2, Ohio's official groundhog, Buckeye Chuck of Marion, stepped out of his lair in snowy, overcast weather. He did not see his shadow. According to legend, Ohioans can expect an early spring.

We went out to visit Dad Friday evening and will be going out again today. He’s getting better each day. It is amazing what those pacemakers do! I also heard from the ‘Sunshine’ family and our ‘little ray ‘ is doing well after his surgery

Thank the good Lord for all his many blessings.

Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

TODAY IS…TAKE A CRUISE DAY

So many cruise ships, so little time!

Taking a cruise has become the vacation of choice for all ages. You don't have to bother with hotels or restaurants - just board your ship and sail away with everything provided.

The only problem is... how much food can one person eat!

TODAY’S TRIVIA

Today is National Carrot Cake Day

TODAY’S SMILE

Everything I ever needed to know in life ... I learned from my Teddy Bear

Hugs are even better than chocolate.

There's no such thing as too many kisses.

One good cuddle can change a grumpy day.

Love is supposed to wear out your fur a little.

It's okay to let your inside stuffing show now and then!

Listening is as important as talking.

Someone's got to keep their eyes open all the time.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

Everyone needs someone to hold on to.

TODAY’S REFLECTION

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, provided it is received with thanksgiving.

1 Timothy 4.4

Sometimes we are like the dog in the children's story who found a bone. He was so proud of it. He picked it up and started home. On his way home he crossed a bridge over a river. As he crossed the bridge he stopped, as usual, to bark at the other dog that he always saw down in the water.

This time as he looked down, he not only saw the same dog, but that dog had a bone in his mouth, too. What made him mad was that the dog in the water had a bone that appeared to be bigger than the one he had in his mouth.

Therefore, he opened his mouth to bark at the other dog and lost his bone. It is ok to better ourselves if we are not satisfied with where we are at in life.

In fact, we should always be growing in our journey with Christ. But, we shouldn’t be measuring ourselves against others. God made you special and you cannot be compared to anyone else.
